Puppies, puppies, puppies!

Keela FINALLY had her puppies. After a couple of sleepless nights I decided I would help hurry things along, so I put a leash on her and ran her to the end of the block and back a couple of times. Within an hour she started giving birth starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing until Wednesday morning. She had a total of 5 pups. Geez, what a long drawn out ordeal, but after seeing the cute little furry faces it was worth it. Pictures of puppies at 1 day old.

Happy Thursday all. The weekend is almost here! I just wanted to give you an update on Al. He got his new solar water heater and shower installed this past week. His plants are also doing good. He posted "pics" on his blog, so if you haven't visited it in a while, go check it out.

Note to the kids, you guys are doing great on customizing your blogs. They are looking really looking good. Love all of the "sparkle tags" and graphics. The music is cool too! WTG! Everyone got music added to their blogs, which I think is a nice touch. Mom and Jack can check it out when they get back from Mexico. Yes, they are down there sucking down Margarita's and soaking up some sun. Boy, what I wouldn't give to trade places!

Ok, I am off to off to feed the critters..... duty calls. Byeeeeee!

Do you think Cohen enjoyed himself?

Steve stopped by this afternoon and gave me some pictures of Cohen's 1st Birthday party. Kiersa made him his very own cake to eat all by himself..... and he did have fun (and made quite the mess,) it looks like. She make a second cake for all of the grown ups to eat. Kiersa, I am impressed! Thanks for sharing his B'day pictures with us. xo'x

Mom is such a sweetheart! She dug through all of her old pictures and spent hours scanning, just so we could have lots of really neat pictures for our family photo album. WE LOVE YOU MOM! You are the BEST!

Project COMPLETE!

The Family Website is done, other than adding pictures of Tom, Bill and Darlene. I also want a good picture of Spam and Al (hint hint.) Al, Mom, Steve, and Shannon, all have their new Blogs to play with, along with new Picture Albums. I will be in charge of posting "news" on the Family web site "Welcome" page. The latest news is shown on the right side of the main page. I will also post any news articles and pictures anyone needs help with on the Blogs until you get this new Blog business all figured out. Believe me, you will get the hang of it as it is really easy, honest!

I hope everyone likes their new Family site and the individual Blogs and Photo Albums. What a great way for us to share. I am stoked! I can't wait to see your new posts and pictures. Shannon, you are doing great! I see you are having fun uploading pictures and playing with your new Blog. Well that is what they are for! For you to enjoy and share with your family, friends.... the world!

Now come on you guys, start posting and adding your pictures. This is a great way for all of us to share, since we are now spread all over the country. Don't be shy!

Remember, when you create your new posts you have two options, save as draft or publish. If you want to save your first few posts as a drafts, (if you are new at blogging,) and have me check them for you, that's fine. Just let me know you submitted one in draft format and I will edit it and post it for you. You will get the hang of it in no time, I promise. It's really easy (as easy as typing an email.) Put another candle on your Birthday cake.....

I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday when Cohen was born! Now he is having his first Birthday, March 18th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COHEN!!!!!!

Al finishes his new greenhouse

Al has been working on his new greenhouse project which he attached to his motorhome bus conversion. It is 40' long so it was quite the project. I can't wait to see the pictures of all of the veggies and plants. I want ONE!

Welcome to our Family Blog

With the creation of our new Windtalkers family website, I realized we also needed the creation of a family blog..... a place where family members can submit their own blog and keep us up to date with what is going on in their lives. They can also post pictures! Woohoo! Since we are spread out all over the country, sometimes we need more than simply shooting off an e-mail or contacting each other on an IM. With all of the personal sites, 360, myspace, blogger, etc.... who can keep up with all of the chit? The key is to keep family stuff separate, and simple. So come on family, post your latest news and pictures. If you don't want to post it, send the news to me (with any pictures) and I will post it for you.
